The Digital Ambassador Program is funded through a partnership with the National 4-H Council and Microsoft. We are looking for highly motivated teens who would like to become 4-H Digital Ambassadors! These teens will join 4-H, participate in training's that will give them the skills necessary to lead programs that train adults on how to use new technologies such as computers, cell phones, and tablets. Becoming a 4-H Digital Ambassador will allow the teens to build their leadership and communication skills as well as build their resumes by leading workshops in their local communities. We are also looking for adults who would be interested in the community learning sessions. Topics covered could include: how to turn on and off a phone/computer/tablet, how to use Microsoft Word/Publisher/Excel, how to use apps such as Snapchat or Instagram, how to use the Internet, how to keep your information secure on the Internet, how to avoid scams, and much more! Adult participants will be able to bring their own computers, cell phones or tablets, or we will have some available to learn with. To sign a teen up to become a 4-H Digital Ambassador, to sign up for one of the community learning sessions, or for more information on this program, please contact Kathy Lehman at 315-376-5270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
