The new Art History Program will now be offered in March.

It will consist of a series of 4 workshops learning and applying the techniques of different artists.

Attendance at 3 of the 4 is mandatory. 

Cost: Free for 4-H members; $8 for non-members

Participants must be 10 -18 years old.

Claude Monet - Tuesday, March 6th - 6-8 PM
Claude Monet is famous for his paintings of water lilies, rivers, bridges, the seaside, and sunsets.Come learn how to paint like the leading member of the Impressionists.

Paul Cezanne - Tuesday, March 13th - 6-8 PM
Meet the “Father of Modern Art”.
Learn how his study of Impressionism and his paintings paved the way for Cubism.

Edgar Degas - Tuesday, March 20th - 6-8 PM
Explore the medium of pastels from an artist most famous for his graceful paintings of beautiful ballet dancers.See how to incorporate the principle of art – Movement – into your pastel painting.

Vincent Van Gogh - Tuesday, March 27th - 6-8 PM
Study one of the most famous artists of all time.Learn interesting facts about his life and work.
Create your own painting using techniques of the post-impressionists.
