Mystery Box Cooking Challenge

  • Friday, August 3, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

If your family enjoys competitive cooking shows on television, they’ll love Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County’s Mystery Box Cooking Challenge! During this challenge, participants will be able to test their culinary skills using secret ingredients contained in their mystery box. Each box will contain the same ingredients and is themed around plants grown in a garden. Share, grow and taste family recipes with those within the community, and expand your culinary skills! The Mystery Box Cooking Adventure is a great way to teach children about the culinary trade and develop their cooking skills and creativity, as well as teach them about where their food comes from in a fun way just like TV. The cost of this activity will be $5.00 dollars per participant, and is bound to be a flavorful experience!
