Basic Cow Reproduction 101

Come learn some basic information covering reproduction of your beef cow taught by Dr. Deanna Fuller of Countryside Veterinary. She will be presenting basic breeding, pregnancy, calving and useful husbandry techniques, items needed for calving and signs of calving will be covered. This is a practical hands on workshop you will find relevant and useful.

Her practice includes small and large animals at the Countryside Animal Hospital. She volunteers at the Lewis County Animal Shelter, works with the County Animal Response Team and sits on the Cornell Cooperative Extension Board of Directors, she has helped the 4-H Horse Bowl Team to regional wins and sending youth on to the state competition. She teaches a class that introduces kids to vet medicine and participates in Beef Quality Assurance programs to educate beef producers. "Without the support of my family and all the people in the community where I grew up, I could never have attained my goals," said Dr. Fuller. "It's extremely important to me that I serve as a role model to others who have an interest in veterinary medicine and agriculture."
