Swine 101: An Introductory Webinar

COVID-19 has made many families think about food security and homesteading. Whether you’re interested in raising pigs for your family or to market for profit, this workshop will be offered as an online class through Zoom, structured for beginners to learn the basics in raising pigs from start to finish. The class will include information on best management practices, hog care, production models, processing, and marketing of pigs. 

Leo Tabolt, the General Manager from the Lowville Farmers’ Co-Op, will be joining as a guest speaker.
