Develop a Business Plan for Your Agricultural Business

Are you looking for grants or loans to grow your farm or food-based business but a bank or other lender has mentioned that you need a business plan in order to be considered? Do you know how to put together a balance sheet, income statement or do financial projections for your farm or business? Have you considered all the elements to create a dynamic marketing plan for your business? Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County for our newly revised Zoom series: “Develop Your Ag Business Plan” starting on November 3rd! Completion of all sessions will allow you to complete each section of your business plan with feedback from your family and peers. The series culminates in a “Shark Tank” style pitch session with community members representing a variety of sectors, including marketing, lending and agriculture who will give feedback on the fleshed out business concept complete with marketing strategy, financial projections and more! We hope you will join us!
