Agency Roundtable for NNY Farmers: Meet Your Local Agency Representatives

Join Julia Krahl and Shaun Foster of - the Farm Service Agency (FSA),

Greg Robinson - Resource Conservationist with the Natural Resources

Conservation Service (NCRS), and Liz Lonergan - Regional Director of

the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at JCC, and CCE Staff

from Lewis, Jefferson and Oswego Counties as we learn about all the

various loans and grant programs available to farmers in our region

through these agencies.

The SBDC will discuss their new COVID-19 support programs which

include help with marketing and record keeping, as well as their FREE,

and confidential, business planning opportunities. We'll also hear from

the FSA about eligibility requirements for its Farm Loan Products and a

brief overview of The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

We will also hear about the FSA's specific programs that support farms

impacted by COVID-19 and the opportunities they have that are

designed for new, beginning, women and veteran farmers. Finally we'll

hear from NRCS about their conservation programs available to all

farmers.
