  • Or perhaps you have hired staff for years and are looking for fresh ideas for managing your team?
  • Are you looking for a safe place to process your last season, what you learned and what you’ll do differently managing staff this next season?

You’re invited to participate in a virtual collaborative learning environment for woman-identifying farmers this winter where you'll learn along side with peers.

From strategies for establishing the right culture and employer-employee relationships, to training and delegation to handling workplace conflict, this three-part virtual series will connect you with relevant resources and a network of women farmer peers addressing similar challenges.

  • Productive Conflict: How to mediate difficult conversations across gender, family and cultural differences

Sign up for which month works best with your schedule and plan to attend all three. Space is limited to keep the groups small and interactive. All sessions will be held via Zoom from 12-1:15 EST.

The Cornell Small Farms Program offers a suite of more than 30 online courses, primarily taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension educators, to help farmers improve their technical and business skills.

The MidAtlantic Women in Agriculture program works to engage, educate and empower women to achieve goals and manage risk. The program offers webinars the second Tuesday of the month, and recordings of all sessions are available 24/7 via YouTube.

Land for Good's “Farm Succession Planning Webinar Series” is for New England farmers to learn about key issues, tools and resources to help them make informed decisions and take action steps towards transferring their farm to the next generation of their family or a non-family successor. All generations, including family and non-family members, who may play a role in your farms future are encouraged to attend. More info.

Join the University of New Hampshire Food Systems Lab for a free virtual workshop series featuring local farmers and market coordinators sharing experiences with inventory and pricing, aggregation and distribution & marketing and organizational structure.
