Smart Energy Choices is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension that provides free energy advising to residents, small commercial, non-profit and multifamily building owners and managers to help them reduce their energy use, switch to renewable energy, save money, and improve the comfort of their homes and buildings.
Smart Energy Choices is funded in part by a grant from the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA). This grant has been awarded to Cornell Cooperative Extension associations in four of ten regions throughout the state: Long Island, Mid-Hudson, Mohawk Valley, and Southern Tier. In addition, Cornell Cooperative Extension serves in a prominent role in the Capital Region.
