Annual Meeting Cornell Cooperative Extension Lewis County's Celebration of Agriculture

Join us for a special evening of community, agriculture, and delicious food! Cornell Cooperative Extension Lewis County, in partnership with the Lewis County Farm Bureau and Soil and Water, invites you to attend our Celebration of Agriculture on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 5:30 PM.

The event will take place at the Cornell Cooperative Extension office located at 7395 East Rd, Lowville, NY 13367.

The evening will begin with our Annual Business Meeting, where members will discuss elections and proposed changes to the constitution. Following the business meeting, we are excited to welcome Brian Steinmuller from the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets/Division of Land and Water Resources. Mr. Steinmuller will share his insights on Climate Resilient Farming, providing valuable information for local farmers and agricultural enthusiasts.

To enhance the evening, we will be offering a variety of delicious fall-themed food samples and beverages. Additionally, Lewis County Farm Bureau will be hosting their annual pie auction to benefit local food pantries.
