Stay Tuned for our Open Farm Day 2026 booklet! The booklet is your ticket to discovering the 11 participating locations in this year’s Open Farm Day, brought to you by the Agriculture Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County. On Saturday, August 08, 2026, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, we invite you to visit the farms listed in this booklet and explore Lewis County’s fantastic array of local agricultural enterprises. For your convenience, “Open Farm Day” signs will be posted at each location for easier navigation.

Farms offer a variety of activities such as tours, free samples, and animal interactions! To help plan your day, please read the farm descriptions.

When visiting a passport destination, just fill out the visitor’s survey and turn it in at any location to earn you this year’s prize – an insulated shopping tote!

Prizes are available while supplies last. To ensure supply, we ask that each family only take one prize.

Open Farm Day Etiquette:

Pets are NOT allowed on Open Farm Day Farms.
Please take only one insulated shopping tote per family.
Please do not stray on farms; stick to designated visitor areas and exercise reasonable care regarding disclosed risks.
Please follow all posted rules of conduct at specific operations and do not willfully remove, deface, or otherwise damage signs or other personal property.
