Advisory Committees

A Food Hub is as unique and complex as the region it serves. Who knows better the challenges and opportunities of growing and selling locally grown food in the North Country than the farmers who make their livelihoods doing it! This project has asked local producers to provide insights, guidance, and experience, to the development of the Food Hub by serving on one of three advisory committees.

Committees have been established in the Northern, Central, and Southern area of the Food Hub region. Their suggestions are key to keeping this process transparent and open to the public. Listed below are the names of these valuable volunteers and the committee they serve on.
